Anthony lived a life rooted in faith, family, music, and joy.

Anthony Ray Judge was born on August 12, 1955, in Leland, Mississippi, to the late Bennie Judge Sr. and Hattie Judge. He was the youngest of thirteen children. He passed away on July 21, 2026, at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, New York, at the age of 70.

Anthony lived a life rooted in faith, family, music, and joy. He was a devoted man of God who served faithfully as a deacon at Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Syracuse, New York. His faith guided his life, and he served his church with humility, dedication, and love. He had a joyful spirit and embraced life fully. Anthony enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and working crossword puzzles. He was also a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan who rarely missed a game.

As a truck driver, Anthony traveled across the country, experiencing new places and meeting people from all walks of life. These years on the road reflected his adventurous nature and created lasting memories. Later in life, he worked for more than ten years as a landscaper at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation. He took pride in maintaining the grounds and enjoyed contributing to a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Some of Anthony’s most cherished moments were spent at the ballpark watching his grandsons play baseball. He was a constant presence in the stands, proudly cheering them on and enjoying a hot dog—one of his favorite treats. His support reflected his deep love and pride for his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Melody Judge-Echols of Georgia, Catina Davis of Minnesota, and Ayana Davis of Illinois; his only begotten son, Anthony Felston of Florida; his son-in-law, Donny Echols; his daughter-in-law, Toya Felston; his bonus son, Antravious Judge of Georgia; his fiancée, Shirley Randall of New York; and his godson, Kam'ron Pace of New York. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, including Caleb Judge-Echols and Donny Echols Jr.; his brother, Lugene Judge and his sister, Brenda Faye Judge of New York. He will be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, and friends. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Judge Sr. and Hattie Judge; his brothers, Jimmy Lee Judge, Bennie Judge Jr., Sidney Judge, Bubba Dean Judge, Sylvester Judge; and his sisters, Dorothy Mae Butler, Mary Ella Judge, Verma Judge Langston, Willie Mae Brims, and Estella Robinson.

He will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, fiancé, godfather, deacon, and friend. His strong faith, love for family, joyful personality, adventurous spirit, and work ethic leave a lasting legacy. Though his passing brings deep sorrow, his family finds comfort in the life he lived and the love he shared. His faith, laughter, love of music, dancing, stories from the road, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who knew him.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE honoring Anthony Ray Judge will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Leland Qwest United Methodist Church, 81 Veterans Memorial Highway SE, Mableton, Georgia 30126.

The family sincerely thanks everyone for their prayers, calls, visits, and expressions of love and support during this time. Your kindness has been a source of strength and comfort. “Remember me with laughter, smile, and joy. If you have to remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.” Anthony will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
