Doris D. Hope, 53, passed away on March 19, 2026, at Upstate Hospital. Born on September 23, 1972, she was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, cherished sister, and longtime partner whose presence brought joy and strength to those around her.

Doris loved old school R&B music and was known as the life of the party, with a contagious smile and warm laughter that could light up any room.

She is survived by her four children, DaJanna Webb, Eric Brown Jr., Nikeem Brown, and Davon Watford; her grandchildren, D’mair Joyner, Aniya Brown, Eric Brown III, D’koda Webb, Neyamiah Donnelly, and Artyst Lockwood; her supportive and courageous sister, April Hope; her physically distant sister, Kamisha Gibson; and her longtime partner, Sam Jones, who stood by her side with love and support.

Doris will be remembered for her warmth, joyful spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her. A private service will be held to honor her life.
