Kevin DeVaul, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, New York, passed away surrounded by the love and memories of family and friends. Born and raised in Syracuse, he was the son of Herbert and Eleanor DeVaul.

Family was the most important part of Kevin's life. He was proud to serve his community as a firefighter with the East Syracuse Fire Department, a role he held close to his heart. In his free time, Kevin enjoyed following professional wrestling, spending time fishing, and carrying on the cherished tradition of making Christmas cookies for family and friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Eleanor DeVaul; his brothers, Herbert "Herb" DeVaul Jr., Michael DeVaul and Edward DeVaul; his sister, Cheryl; his nephew, Christopher Lowe; and his niece, Beth Logan.

He is survived by his brother Paul DeVaul; nieces, Antonette Reed, Stephanie DeVaul, Kelly McIntosh, and Jennifer DeVaul; his nephews, Todd DeVaul and Herbert DeVaul; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.

Kevin will be remembered for his dedication to family, his service to his community, and the kindness and warmth he shared with those around him.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at a later date.
