Pheyllyn Jareth O'Donnell (Phey) of Endicott NY, left this Earth on May 6th 2026 at the age of 4 years and 8 months peacefully wrapped in his mother's arms at Upstate Golisano Children's hospital in Syracuse. He will be forever missed and cherished by his mother-Cheyanne Eberly, father-Logan O'Donnell, siblings-Korie Jo, Charlotte-Rhea, Jennifer and Llewcian, his nana-Karen Johnson,many aunts, cousins and extended family

Phey was the definition of strength perseverance and resilience. He was born at 28 weeks, spent 195 days in Crouse NICU where he endured and overcame many obstacles but still had lifelong ailments. He spent the last 3 years of his life comfortably at home,Phey and his family spent their time together snuggling, watching game shows, antiques roadshow and football reading books together, and listening to music while slow dancing, just truly appreciating the time together. He also developed special relationships with his in-home providers that not only improved the quality of his life but brought so much joy to theirs.

The family sends the biggest heartfelt Thank You to the Upstate PICU staff, Upstate providers, Upstate choices palliative care team, the ladies of Guthrie Vestal home care, Child's play, Jump start, CompassionNet, and Leslie Wade from the Children's Health Network for their continued support, care, advocacy and compassion as we traveled Pheys exceptional journey from beginning to end. All together we made "The rest of his life, the best of his life."

The family has chosen to do a celebration of life at a later date.
