With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert John Baker age 63, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's hospital in Syracuse, NY Robert was born in Syracuse, NY.

Robert was a mechanic by trade he loved fixing and selling cars. He was also a passionate cook who could make an incredible pot of rice! His favorite pastry was cheesecake and his was truly delicious! Robert was a man with a truly good heart.

Robert's life will carry on not only through his family but through the gift of his organ donations, as his liver and kidneys were donated to save two to three lives.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Kelley Lynn, his six grandchildren, Angel "Carlos" Kaliece, Donavyn, Ryah, Tarrisa, and Khiari, his great-grandson Tao.

He is also survived by his parents, Mr Norman Jock (Rosemary Scammell); and his sister, Rosanne Baker; sister in-law, Dianne Scammell; brother in-law, Lawrence Laux; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Nova Lynn, and his siblings, Edward Roy "Butch" Scammell, Cecelia Ann Baker, Raymond William Baker, and Cherie Verna Gertrude Jock-Laux.

Robert's remains will be creamated and placed into a larger matching urn to his little brother's Raymond both urns will be in the possession of the sister Rosanne.

There will be a private service at a later date.
