Thomas Edwin Padgett was born on May 13th 1951 in Jamaica New York to Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Willie Mae Padgett.
As a child we called him "Puddy". During his formative years he attended school from elementary to college and graduated from all. After college he served in the Air Force. He then retired from a security guard position. He also attended a Methodist and a non-denominational church(s).
Puddy relocated from Jamaica, New York to Syracuse, New York.
Puddy's 2 brothers, 2 sisters and his parents preceded him in death.
We learned he had a beautiful son, Travis Shephard, and three grandchildren.
He also has three sisters Wilhelmena Padgett (Ferguson), Gloria Padgett, and Carol Padgett (Bryant), and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Puddy was a very loving person. People were very comfortable talking with him about anything. He listened attentively and gave his opinion, but don't ask if you don't want the answer.
Puddy was also funny. Everybody loved for him to watch their children, from family members to friends, but you better not make him mad because if you did he would make you stand in the corner on one leg, and you BETTER NOT put that leg down or he would give you more time to stand on that same leg.
He also loved and had every electronic device you could think of. TV was his thing. Guess what.... he also loved to cook and was very good at it, but when he asked his sister Carol would she like to taste some, she said “No thank you, Sir....”
Puddy was loved by everyone and he will be sorely missed.
