Tyler B. Carter, 34, passed away unexpectedly in Annsville, New York on 9/19/2026

Tyler was a fun-loving, kindhearted man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tyler was a fun-loving, kindhearted man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and took pride in his work as a mason and in the many odd jobs he enjoyed doing. Tyler loved to build and create things, always willing to put his hands and heart into whatever project was in front of him.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoyed fishing and hiking, but what meant the most to him was spending time with his children. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories he created with those he loved will be cherished forever.

After graduating from Nashoba Tech High School, Tyler proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia.

Tyler had a wonderful sense of humor and a playful spirit. He loved watching Family Guy, and his mother will always remember the way he would call her saying, “Mumma, Mumma, Mumma.” It was one of those little things that was uniquely Tyler and will forever bring a smile and a tear to those who loved him.

Tyler was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lyle and Mary Carter, and his maternal grandfather, James S. Roberts Sr.

Tyler is survived by his sons, Dalton L. Carter, Cole R. Carter, and Benjamin Carter, and a very special little girl, Skylar. He is also survived by his father, Lawrence S. Carter, and his wife, Sheila, of Dunstable, Massachusetts; his mother, Elizabeth A. Badershall, and her husband, Roger, of Augusta, Maine; his brother, Travis S. Carter, and his wife, Briana, of Londonderry, New Hampshire; his grandmother, Elizabeth A. Roberts, of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts; his ex-wife, Tiffany Carter; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held October 15, 2026 at noon at New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen NH
